Marketing Communications/Public Relations
SWPR has executed marketing communications programs at local, regional and national levels for a wide range of clients.
In addition to media relations, the agency writes and produces appropriate collateral materials such as brochures, annual reports, fact sheets, white papers and more; advises clients on web site contents and design; and provides strategic communications counseling.
SWPR recognizes the value of the internet in communications, both as an efficient tool for communicating with reporters and editors and as a channel for reaching various audiences through web sites and networks.
Public Affairs/Issue Management
SWPR has broad experience in producing persuasive communications aimed at elected and appointed officials at all levels of government. In addition, the agency has formed and managed a number of ad hoc organizations designed to focus public support for or against various issues.
We have managed more than 30 issues elections, including initiative, referendum and bond campaigns at the city, county and state level. Issues have ranged from defeating Arizona's version of Proposition 13 to gaining voter approval for the state lottery. Campaigns conducted by the agency have resulted in passage of more than $2.5 billion in bonds in Maricopa and Pima counties. Nearly all of these campaigns have required a full range of communications services, from primary and secondary research framing the issue and formulating strategy, to media relations and executing advertising and direct mail programs.
Media Relations
Media Relations are a part of Southwest Public Relations' services for virtually all clients - whether that means keeping clients in the news, out of the news or simply keeping them informed of issues of interest to news media.
SWPR combines years of experience in dealing with news media at all levels, from the publisher's office to the beat reporter and the TV camera crew. We know how reporters and editors think, are aware of their information requirements and their need to meet deadlines with accurate material.
The tools of our trade include media kits, media alerts and advisories, background briefings, press releases, press conferences, press events, photo opportunities, placement of articles, editorials, feature and human interest stories.
Association Management
Taub and Meek have extensive experience in association management ranging from an association's creation through administering its day-to-day operations and special events. SWPR produces appropriate collateral, designs and maintains web site contents, conducts membership drives, coordinates board and membership meetings, manages finances and produces communications such as newsletters.
